How do I prepare mate tea in a French press?

1. Dosage: Add 24 grams of mate tea per liter of water (approx. 4 tablespoons) to the empty French press.
2. Water: Heat to 65-75°C and pour into the jug.
3. Stir: Stir well, put the lid on – but don't press it down yet.
4. Let it steep: Wait 1-2 minutes to allow all the aromas to develop.
5. Pressing: Slowly and evenly press the plunger down – done!
